Hello friends.
I can’t believe it’s almost February. In an effort to ease back into things, I’m keeping this one short.
I am slowly ramping back up into our regular production cycle, beginning to do pop-ups, reconsidering sales channels, and re-envisioning what I want for myself and Bolita this year.
I don’t have answers, but we’re looking at expanding our grocery store and retail partners, in an effort to be more visible, to reduce waste and to better spend my limited “sales” time. If you want to see us at grocer or shop, tell the shop to carry our products, word of mouth goes a long way.
Classes are back.
Every January, February and March we offer workshops on various topics. This year I’m offering out classic Masa Forms class— come make tetelas, tlaycoyos, sopes, gorditas. A new Nixtamal Class where I take you from dried kernel to supple masa, the nerdiest class I offer. And a tamal class where we make 3 distinct styles of tamal masa. More information on the link above ot HERE.
